Pan-fried beef with prunes –

Ingredients

1 serving
  • 100 g Beef steak
  • 2 Carrots
  • 6 pitted prunes
  • 0.5 Lemon
  • 1 Onions
  • 5 strand Chives
  • 5 mL white vinegar
  • 15 mL Olive oil
  • 15 mL Olive oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation

  • Cut the steak into fine slices.
  • Peel and thinly slice the onion.
  • Melt the onion in a frying pan with 1 teaspoon of olive oil.
  • Add the meat and cook until well-coloured, stirring constantly.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper, add the prunes, and vinegar.
  • Cook with the lid on for 2 minutes then stir again.
  • Scatter over chives.
  • Peel and cut the carrots into thick rounds.
  • Steam for 15 minutes.
  • Mash with a fork, add 1 dash of olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Serve the pan-fried beef with prunes along with the carrot purée.
