  • 1 Chicken leg
  • 30 g White rice
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 Leeks
  • 1 Carrots
  • 1 Turnip
  • 1 Onions
  • 3 Gherkins
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 strand Thyme
  • 1 Cloves, dried
  • 2 pinch Coarse salt
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation

  • Wash one celery stalk.
  • Peel the carrot, turnip, and leek.
  • Peel the onion, and pin in the cloves.
  • Place the chicken in a pressure cooker, cover with water and bring to a boil.
  • Skim off the foam from the surface.
  • Add the vegetables, thyme, bay leaf, 2 pinches of salt, and 1 pinch of pepper.
  • Close the lid and cook for 25 minutes, until it begins to whistle.
  • Meanwhile, plunge the rice into a pan filled with salted water, and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Surround the boiled chicken with vegetables, and serve with rice, place 3 gherkins and coarse sea salt on the table to accompany.
